NRHS Intermountain Chapter Presents P-R-O Fund Grant To The Friends Of The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad

Chapter President Robert Brewster Presents P-R-O Fund Grant to Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad President Tim Tennant

CHAMA, NEW MEXICO — The Intermountain Chapter of the NRHS is proud to announce that the Chapter has presented our first P-R-O Fund Grant to the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad for ongoing restoration work. The Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec is the museum arm of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and is an all-volunteer organization that continues the preservation of the historic line between Antonito, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico. This is the first grant awarded to the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec and the Intermountain Chapter hopes it can help them continue their mission to preserve one of the true gems of Colorado and New Mexico history. If you haven’t already, please consider joining the Friends and you can also sign up to volunteer with the organization. There is something for everyone!

These grants to continue preservation and restoration of Colorado’s railroad history wouldn’t be possible without your support and membership with the NRHS Intermountain Chapter. Thank you!
