Santa Fe ‘Navajo’ Observation Car

The “Navajo” ran with the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe’s Super Chief between Chicago and Los Angeles, which was the first diesel powered all-Pullman train in the United States. The car features a Native American inspired decor that was reminiscent of the American Southwest the train traveled through. You can see the “Navajo” at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden.
